A series of experimental branding explorations created for RAWCSAV -- I really just got bored one day, messed around on Photoshop, and realized I wasn't so bored anymore. That initial creative 'spark' has been a catalyst for a growing interest in typography, logotypes, and graphic arts as a whole.

Fascinated by both the conceptual and technical dimensions of design, my work draws heavily from classic typography sourcebooks, such as those by Yasaburo Kuwayama and Sumio Hasegawa, while also reflecting the raw, unpolished aesthetics of my own cultural influences.

While the RAWCSAV branding section explores the site's overall visual identity, this collection showcases the functional design elements that bring the site to life.

These works serve as the connective tissue between concept and user experience, manifesting as navigation icons, section headers, and page-specific emblems.

Moving beyond site aesthetics into the realm of software identity, this section still embodies all the same visual essence as it showcases designs developed for various coding projects and initiatives under the RAWCSAV umbrella.

On a much different note, these are all 20th-century Japanese or European matchbox labels that found recontextualization in the early days of RAWCSAV. I hold such an appreciation for the skillful charm and overall historical graphical appeal of these labels, so it's no surprise they were the site's first commanding aesthetic influence. Similar to the sections above, these were all functional and served as either hyperlinks or representations of various projects.
